The most popular floor plan we have ever had. There is just a lot of house here. Starting with the foyer, not just an entrance. It has a real foyer with a large coat closet and a sloping ceiling. And that ceiling keeps going up into the great room allowing for plant ledges on both ends of the great room and above the laundry room. As guests enter the foyer and walk into the great room, their curiosity is teased a bit with a glimpse into the dining area. Perhaps they wonder, "Just how big is this house?" Well, it's big enough. Around the corner from the dining room and out of sight of the front door (just in case the dishes are not done when guests arrive) is the large, wrap-around kitchen which has a breakfast bar and a pantry closet.
From the kitchen, one has easy access to the garage through the laundry room. The laundry room is large enough to sort clothes, hide laundry baskets and leave the ironing board up for easy use.
The garage is a large garage. It's big enough for a full size truck, an SUV, lawnmower and bicycles. It's high trusses allow enough height for an optional attic. The overhead door can be in front, as shown, or on either side of the garage.
Now, let's go back to the front entrance. As we enter the front door, let's go to the right, down the hall. The first door on the left is the main bathroom. Notice the large vanity and linen cabinet.
On the right are two bedrooms. Each one is large and have large closets. At the end of the hallway is another linen closet, and on the left is the master bedroom. The master bedroom is 15' x 12'. That is large enough to easily handle a king size bed, end tables, dresser and chest of drawer.
The master walk in closet is a whopping 10' x 5'. The master bath is compartmentalized, meaning the tub/shower and stool are away from the vanity. There is also a linen cabinet next to the vanity.
The Ashland is well thought out and might be just the perfect plan for you and your family.
