The original structure was built 100 years ago. Through the decades the house has had four additions, each one unique. On the second story, each of the four additions has a different floor plane. There are four different floor levels. This creates a design and structure challenge for the project for which we have been hired. The different floor levels will be left as they are, but we will attempt to align the many roof planes.

 The existing garage will be demolished and a new Great Room and Garage will be added where the old garage stands.

Many of the exterior photos were shot from about the same location to allow the viewer to monitor day-to-day progress.

These are preliminary sketches for an addition to a brick ranch. Colors and textures for the addition have not been chosen, nor has a final design. These are just preliminary sketches.

The building site has many varied grades allowing for a walk out lower level and an upper level deck. Each room in the new addition has a view of beautiful of grassy slopes and mature trees, so each room has large windows and access to the outside patio or deck.
